The Classic League - TT series
A series of time trials run primarily on Wednesday evenings with finish position decided by handicap.
All riders are welcome to ride the events (2nd Claim) but only full Club members will qualify for points.

Brian Weatherley 25 Championship
The event began in 1922 and the Brian Weatherley Bowl was first awarded
in 1950. The bowl commemorates Brian Weatherley who joined the club in
1947 (age 16) and unfortunately died in 1949 after a short illness from
polio.

Mendip Madness All Day ride
This ride is a challenging ride around the Mendip Hills in a Club run format,
initially runs as a training ride / preparation for a hilly sportive more

Uphill / Downhill (The David Hill Memorial Trophy)
David Hill was a member who served the club as both Chairman and Time Trial Secretary as well as being a keen
cyclist. The Trophy was presented by his family when he died in 1993. The trophy is awarded to the member with the best
aggregate result in the Uphill / Downhill competition; points are scored according to position in two events, an up hill time trial, and
a down hill freewheel.
